1. Who we are

Nightgrove Lighting Co. ("Nightgrove," "we," "us") is a landscape and architectural lighting company serving Morris and Bergen County, New Jersey. Nightgrove Lighting Co. is a division of Lemar Street Properties LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company.

This policy explains what information we collect through nightgrovelighting.com and in the course of quoting, installing and maintaining lighting systems, and what we do with it.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Your name, email address and phone number when you request a quote or consultation.
• The address and details of the property you want lit, including anything you tell us about the site, existing wiring or prior work.
• Anything else you choose to put in a message to us.
• Photographs of your property that you send us, or that we take during a site visit or after an installation.

Information collected automatically

• Standard web log information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page and timestamps.
• Analytics data about how the site is used, collected through Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats.

We do not collect payment card numbers through this website. If you pay us, you do so directly by the method we agree on, and any card processing is handled by that provider rather than by us.

3. How we use information

• To respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and schedule a consultation.
• To design, install, service and warranty your lighting system.
• To contact you about your project, your care plan, or a scheduled visit.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To keep records we are required to keep, and to resolve disputes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.

4. How we share information

We share information only where it is needed to run the business:

• Service providers who operate parts of our business on our behalf — our website host, our contact-form provider, our analytics providers, and our email provider. They may only use the information to provide that service to us.
• Trade partners where your project needs them — for example, a licensed New Jersey electrician for any line-voltage work. They receive only what is needed to do that work.
• Legal reasons — if we are required to by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
• A business transfer — if the business is sold or reorganised, customer records may transfer with it.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others are used for analytics — to count visits and understand which pages people read.

We use Google Analytics 4 and Jetpack Stats. These providers set their own cookies and receive information about your visit, including a truncated or full IP address depending on their settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser opt-out add-on.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of this site behave. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for how to do so.

6. Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your enquiry, your quote, your installation or a scheduled service visit. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing text messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them, and you can stop messages at any time by replying STOP or telling us directly.

7. How long we keep information

We keep quote and enquiry records for as long as needed to follow up and for our own business records. We keep records of completed installations for at least the length of the workmanship warranty, so that we can honour it, and afterwards for as long as our tax and business record-keeping obligations require. Website analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics provider.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Stop contacting you, or stop using your project photographs in our marketing.

Email info@nightgrovelighting.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law; tell us what you are asking for and we will treat the request on its merits.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including serving this site over HTTPS and limiting who can access customer records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top. If the change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.
